Grizzly Bear HuntingOpatcho Lake Outfitters has a very healthy Grizzly Bear population. Only recently have we been given a limited number of tags. Most bears are shot in higher alpine areas but some are also harvested in the lower elevations. The Spring Grizzly Bear hunts are between May 1 – June 15. Many clients take advantage of the opportunity and combine this hunt with Black Bear and Wolf. The Fall Grizzly Bear hunts are between Sept 1 – Nov 1.
